My Skincare Routine For Summer

Morning Routine 1. Gentle Cleanser

I start my day with a sulfate-free, gentle cleanser to remove any overnight oils and prep my skin for the day ahead.

Morning Routine 2. Vitamin C Serum

After cleansing, I apply a vitamin C serum. This antioxidant-rich serum helps to protect my skin from environmental damage and brightens my complexion.

Morning Routine 3. Lightweight Moisturizer

I opt for a lightweight, oil-free moisturizer that hydrates without making my skin greasy.

Morning Routine 4. Broad-Spectrum Sunscreen

The most crucial step in my summer skincare routine is applying a broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least SPF 30.

Morning Routine 5. Lip Balm with SPF

I finish off with a hydrating lip balm that also contains SPF to protect my lips from sun damage.

Mid-Day 1. Facial Mist

I keep a hydrating facial mist in my bag to refresh my skin throughout the day, especially if I've been outdoors or sweating.

Mid-Day 2. Sunscreen Reapplication

If I'm spending extended periods outside, I make sure to reapply sunscreen every two hours.

Evening Routine 1. Double Cleanse

I start with an oil-based cleanser to remove sunscreen and any makeup, followed by my gentle cleanser to clean the skin.

Evening Routine 2. Exfoliation (Twice a Week)

I exfoliate my skin 1-2 times a week to remove dead skin cells and prevent clogged pores. I opt for a gentle, chemical exfoliant to avoid irritation.

Evening Routine 3. Hydrating Toner

I apply a hydrating toner to balance my skin's pH and prepare it for the next steps.

Evening Routine 4. Night Serum

Depending on how my skin feels, I use a hydrating serum or a lightweight oil like rosehip to nourish my skin.

Evening Routine 5. Eye Cream

I apply an eye cream to address any puffiness or dark circles.
