Costco Shoppers Are Raving About a Special Maple Syrup

A touch of maple syrup, whether as a pancake topping or a marinade sweetener, can enhance the flavor of a variety of foods.

As mentioned in a number of online discussions, the company is presently selling Crown Maple's Bourbon Barrel Aged Maple Syrup, a product that has customers returning to the warehouse club to stock up.

A few days ago, one Reddit user reported finding the popular sweetener at their local Costco for $11.59, sparking many positive responses from enthusiasts.

The same 25 fluid-ounce product is presently available for $32.95. According to the manufacturer, this USDA Organic syrup is matured in barrels that formerly held super-premium Window Jane 10-Year Bourbon.

This makes it possible for "the distinctive flavors & aromas of bourbon, smoky oak, graham cracker, brown butter & creamy vanilla to infuse from the oak."

One internet commenter noticed an unexpected small whiskey note and described the syrup as really delicious and powerful.

One user suggested preparing a maple Old Fashioned by replacing the normal sugar cube or simple syrup in the cocktail with Crown Maple Syrup.

Someone else recommended using the syrup to baste cedar plank fish, and others liked it as a coffee sweetener.

One Reddit user pointed out the appearance of the infamous "death star" on the syrup's price sign, which signifies that Costco will no longer sell an item. In other words, stock up on this syrup while you still can!

Aside from Crown Maple Syrup, Costco customers have praised other delicious items on social media. The warehouse club recently generated some buzz after a customer spotted the renowned pumpkin cheesecake at the bakery.

The festive delicacy weighs over five pounds and is made out of a graham cracker shell, pumpkin cheesecake filling, and a sour cream pumpkin spice topping.
