Costco Is Now Selling a "Delicious" Comfort Food Side

There's a brand-new side dish in Costco's ready-to-eat area. Not only does it scream comfort food, but it could also be the perfect easy dish to add to your Thanksgiving table this fall.

This week, Loaded Mashed Potatoes were seen at several Costco stores. They are a new comfort food.

These mashed potatoes are more tasty and rich than regular mashed potatoes because they have butter, bacon, sour cream, shredded Parmesan, and mozzarella cheese added to them.

Laura Lamb, who runs the Costco-themed Instagram account @costcohotfinds, stated in a video Wednesday that the package contained more than three and a half pounds of loaded potatoes, enough to feed a small audience.

"This is a meal in itself and these potatoes are phenomenal," Lamb said. Other buyers have like the new potatoes too.

Some Costco warehouses haven't received the potatoes yet, according to comments under Lamb's article. Before visiting, members should verify with their local warehouse to see if packages are in stock.

As always, prices may vary by location, but Lamb found Loaded Mashed Potatoes for $12.50 per packet ($3.49 per pound) at the warehouse.

Costco has introduced other popular prepared foods in recent weeks. New Carne Asada Bowl kits with carne asada, onions, salsa, guacamole, limes, and cilantro rice with corn and beans appeared last month.
